This instrumental cover kind of came out of the blue. I've always loved the version of the song featured in the 1965 film version of "The Sound of Music", sung by Julie Andrews, and used the vibes from my recent FUSION DANCE collab album (with 'That Andy Guy') & Study Buddy album as sonic blueprints for the direction I wanted to take this cover in. I also was heavily influenced by the works of my friend 'sylcmyk'!

Aside from the obvious change of direction I took with my version/arrangement of the song, some of you may note that I altered the scale of the melody slightly to match a more serious than whimsical vibe.
