Originally created for/ released on Novatone's 'OGC VII (Obscure Genre Challenge Vol. 7)' various artists compilation. For this release, artists were tasked with creating an original track to match the theme of the release. For this compilation each artist was tasked with picking from a pool of provided 'obscure genres', and off the heals of my recent 'Storage Space' album and subsequent 'Max Capacity: B-Sides' release (both via 'fakenumberland' in 2023), I wound up choosing 'Glitch Lounge Y2K' as my genre. This single very much feels like a spiritual continuation to lots of the material present on those two releases.
