This album has inadvertently been conceived over the coarse of the last 5 years or so. There are tracks on this album that were made but a few months before it's release, and conversely, tracks that existed long before 'Shady Monk' was ever even a thought. I've often been fond of the music that can be heard in classic and retro video games, and I've been told many times that that influence shows in my work. I decided to truly dedicate a release to that end, a tribute in a sense, and subsequently, a culmination of the game inspired tracks that I've composed over the past half decade. I hope this will be regarded as a hypothetical video game soundtrack of sorts. As always, I hope you enjoy, and thank you all for your continued interest, love, and support. ~ Shady Monk
